Abby’s been told she looks a bit like Mimi Lockhart from Days of Our Lives—but her life isn’t nearly as complicated. She grew up in Dayton, graduated from Ohio University, spends her free time hanging out with family and friends, and considers her parents the greatest influence on her life. No soap opera storylines there.

Then there are Abby’s words to live by (courtesy of author Nora Roberts): “If you don’t go after what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. If you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place.” That must be why Abby stays so active. None of that dawdling in the same place for her; not when she can run, bike, and plan beautiful office spaces that allow others to move forward. Without the drama, of course.
